Since a recent Autodesk Audit we have found the company that we purchased last year has un-used licences of AutoCAD LT, however they dont have any installation discs.
Is there anywhere we can download the following software?
- AutoCAD LT 2005
- AutoCAD LT 2012
So we can then use them on some of the older PC's we have.
3ds max 2010 is not work on window 8....Plz suggest ..if any. :-)
Hi there, I recently activated a student liscense for 3DS Max for college work and the like. I accidentally downloaded Max 2013 instead of 2014 (Which we now use in college). Now whenever I try and download Max 2014 I get the Blue Screen of Death. It is becoming more and more of an issue as the college year goes on and I need more time to practice with it and work on course work. Im not sure if I need to remove Max 2013 first and I dont really want to find out the hard way and lose access to both versions. Just in case, here are my computer specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA 78LMT
AMD FX4130 Quad Core 3.8gh
AMD Radeon HD 7870
8 gb DDR3 Ram
Corsair CX 750 PSU
The case has cooling good enough for long gaming sessions on recent games and is almost brand new. Any help you can give me would be very greatly appreciated, thanks.
Running up to date Windows 7 on a capable Dell, with licensed and operational AutoCAD 2013.
I let the Autodesk website install Inventor 2014 Pro for a 30 day trial. It installed fine. Unfortunately, due to something completely seperate, I had to restore the system to a date a few days prior to the Inventor install. So I let Autodesk install Inventor again. Now when I try to run the software, I am in license state 2.10.0 and I have to activate the product. But, I have no serial number or product key. I should have about 25 days left to evaluate the product. My boss is not going to buy a license if I cannot show results. How can I run the product?
Hello. At the company where I work they have AutoCAD Design Suites Standard and Premium. They also have 2013 Vault Basic on the server and the clients. The company wants to upgrade to 2014. When I download 2014 Design Suites, I have been told that each product will give me the option to import settings from previous releases. My question is what settings do they mean? I was not here when they installed 2013. Will it import the Vault settings, Vault user profiles, the working folder that was designated at the time of install, and the content libraries?
I had my computer worked on for repair due to a virus and now that i have my computer back, everytime i try to open AutoCAD a message comes up saying there there is some type od license and software not installed correctly. how can i resolve this?
I downloaded Infraworks 2014 R2 and now I want to include it in my deployment image for IDSP. How can I do that?
We have a test machine that has Inventor Suite with Autocad 2012 on it. We want to install the same Inventor Suite with Autocad, but 2014.
Can the two be on the same machine or does the 2012 version need to be uninstalled?
For the time being, I would like to keep both versions on the machine for comparison.
Does anyone know of any problems that may happen? Or has happened?
All comments are welcome.
Thank you in advance.
I spend several hours for the past several days only to get a fatal error after the browser download or missing files after downloading striaght to my pc and then installing from the setup manager provided. Any one have any ideas?
I have been a long time user of 3DS MAX... starting out at release 3.0. Needless to say, over the years I have acquired numerous upgrades and now have a closet full of boxes that need to go. I'm currently running MAX Design 2009 under Windows 7. It was the last version that I received while under subscription. Can I just toss all the other versions an just keep this one? The box contains the serial number and my old contract number on it so I am assuming that would be enough to provide Autodesk with proof of who I am should some issue arise.
My concern is that I may toss too much stuff and not be able to reinstall the software in the future. Anyone know if it is safe to toss the previous versions if you have a newer version (i.e. select subscription edition)? Been a while since I've had to reinstall MAX. I've held on to the other versions due to backwards compatibility but haven't had the need to install the older versions for quite some time.
Thanks in advance,
I installed Autocad Inventor 2010 on Windows XP SP 3. Installation was successful. Upon clicking the icon to open software I get the following message:
Unable to open Autocad
1) reinstall Autocad
2) Do not have sufficient rights
I installed in the software under the administrator profile, so there should be no reason why the program will not open.
I did reinstall Auotcad -- Same error message.
I have a question that is confusing the heck out of me and my office. Currently my license is for building design suite ultimate. I have a powerful desktop that will run Revit, 3ds Max, AutoCAD etc... but I would like to be able to use Navisworks Manage on a laptop that can migrate to different offices and coordination meetings freely. I guess the big question is if I install everything except navisworks and install navisworks ONLY on the laptop is this ok and will this throw up a big red flag with autodesk licensing. There may and WILL be instances where I will need to have Revit open on my desktop and at the same time navisworks open on the laptop so that I can import/export back and forth to resolve clashes. My worry is that if even though Revit and Navisworks are two completely different programs they are using the same license number and we will get one of those nasty letters from autodesk haha. Thoughts?
Revit 2014 extensions Setup. Thank you
Revit 2014 extensions Setup. Thank you
I'm tring to create a Deployment and when I enter my serial number i get a green check and when I enter the product key I get a red X
My license is for 125 seats and trying to create a silent installation. For some reason I'm unable to download the 2014 version number because I do not have my contract number but it allows me to download the 2013 version. Maybe the reason my product code key is not working because I'm trying to install the 2013 version and I have a 2014 license. I can forward my pdf license certificate for verificaion.

My old computer was Macbook, which couldn't run autocad very well, so I bought a Hp laptop. Now I want to install Autocad to my new Hp laptop. I tried, but it wasn't successful. Might I ask you how I can install a free Autocad to my new laptop since I am a interior design student of BCIT Vancouver?

I was just wondering, if I were to make assets in Maya student version; would I be able to use those assets for commercial use purposes after I purchase the commercial use version of Maya? I ask this because I am a student and cannot currently afford the commercial use version of Maya but am planning on getting it in the future.
