I have a problem with Distribuited licensing... My servers still running correctly... but the problem appear when I turn off one of three servers, for exemple .. the primary server.. after this all computers when we open any program Autodesk the time to open and "autenticate" the license is around 5 minutes. If we turn off any other server the programs open without problem.

 

I hope you understand my problem and sorry for my english.

Attempting to install Revit Server 2014 on our server running Windows Server 2008 with Service Pack 2 and I am getting an error... "Operating System Unsupported. You cannot install this product on the current operating system. Please read the system requirements for details."

 

Details:

Dell Server with Xeon 4 x 2.5Ghz - 4GB RAM

Running 64-bit Windows Server 2008 with SP2 (fully updated)

Server is running Revit Server 2012 & 2013 already.

 

Installing from Building Design Suite Premium 2014 installer copied to my software deployment server from Autodesk shipped USB stick.

 

Server is a little light on processor according to system requirements, but otherwise meets the minimum system requirements. Meets the Operating System Requirements.

 

I'm comfortable using this server for Revit Server. At most I have 6 users in the office it is running on working in a model on the server. Usually 1 or 2 at any given time.

 

Any thoughts? Do I need to contact Autodesk?

When I try to open revit it starts just to load and then comes this unclassifiable error! and .. it does not go on!

An office I just started at did not have any more copies of Revit Architcture 2011 which they currently use. They are upgrading to 2014 in a few weeks and are having me instal a trial version of 2011 until they buy the new version. I downloaded the program but when I go to install it I can only select the material library to install with the box to select to instal revit being grayed out and unselectable. Then if I try to instal the material library the installer crashes. I have tried redownoading and that des not work. The smae installer file works on other computers but does not work on the one I am using for some reason. The computer is brand new built the day I tried installing revit. Does anyone know how to fix this and get it installed? Thanks

After almost 15 years using AutoCAD with FlexLM, we are just dipping our toes into Suites.  On the surface, these suites seem like a great deal, but digging a little deeper and they don't really seem to offer much to a shop that already has network licensing in place.  When we need more AutoCAD licenses, we buy more AutoCAD licenses.  When we need more 3ds Max licenses, we buy more of them.  Now that suites are entering the picture, it is totally obscusing our usage data.  It seems to me that these Suites are going to force us to overbuy software because all we will know is that we are out of "suite" licenses without being able to identify which product we actually need. 

 

Can someone please tell me, when a suite license is being used on the server, how can I determine which pieces of software are actually pulling that license?

Tried to download Revit 2014 but it crashed and downloaded 0 bytes but won't let me try again, gives a message the downloaded request is already queued

When activating a previous version of AutoCAD I received an error stating that I have exceed the maximum number of activations. The webpage that is used to create a case for support does not work so I am asking for help here. How can I get a tech support person to contact me to discuss this issue?

Does anyone know if the card nvidia quadro K4000 supports rendering in autocad architecture 2010?

I found a lot of drivers for other autodesk softwear but nothing for architecture. 

How best to set the card to use it in AutoCAD? Anyone could help?

I have installed my FlexLM Service on a MS Server 2008 R2.

 

Anything work fine but after 30-60 Minutes, the service always crashed.

If I restart the service manually now, it works fine for 30-60 minutes.

After this 30-60 minutes, i got the same error (adskflex exited with status 4 signal = 444)

 

That isnt the first time that I have installed the flexLM service.

But its the first time with a 2014 license file.

With all other license server i never had problems.

 

What I have done:

 

• reinstall flexLM
• disable MS firewall
• disable and deinstall McAfee anti virus software

Please excuse my "not so perfect" englisch :-)

I am trying to install the sevice pack for Inventor 2013 and I have installed previous update. This is the message I get.

I found a website that suggested using msconfig to try to diagnose the problem and after about 10 reboots I've found that if you disable the 'Windows Management Instrumentation' service, 3ds Max will start without issue.  What issues this has on the rest of the computer I don't know.  In the notes for the service it says that most windows software will not function properly (not great!)

I'm currently doing a Building Design course at Central Tafe in Perth WA and our program that we use in Revit 2013.

I have downloaded Revit on my laptop and have just recently downloaded it onto my home computer as well. I did work on the home computer yesterday and revit worked fine but today when I have tried to save my mornings work on my laptop it have come up with a message saying the license is unavailable and it is in viewer mode.

How do I get my license working again and so I can my assignments?

I have an issue with my 3ds max license, they are two licenses which I already registered. Autodesk generated my .lic file, but when I try to install them in my server along with other licenses for Maya and Mudbox, this new file (3ds max) blocks all the other licenses which were already running, and when I try to run 3ds max a warning appears, saying that the license is not valid.

Can anybody help me with this, please?

I'm new to the forums and I really need your help. I have recently installed a trial version of Maya 2013 64bit on my new Lenovo G580 which came with Windows 8 64bit. When I try to run maya, it gives me the error 0xc000007b. I have updated my Microsoft C++ serveral times and. Uninstalled maya serveral times as well. Nothing worked. Funny thing is Maya 2012 and Softimage 2013 (both 64bit) worked when I tried them.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I donwloaded the Building Design Suite Ultimate 2014 update from autodesk subscription center using the Autodesk download manager which gave me (5) files:

I extracted them and launched the "Setup.exe" file in the newly created "Building_Design_Suite_Ultimate_2014_English_Win_32_64bit_dlm" directory.  The installer starts and says initializing but then an error window opens saying "The system cannot open the device of file specified. C:\Users\CSCHIL~1\AppData\Local\Temp\_AIB367.tmp\x64\NAVMAN\roamer.msi"

 

 

 

I've gone to this directory and confirmed the roamer.msi file does exist here.  I've tried clearing the Temp directory and re-extracting the installer from the downloaded files with the same result.

 

Possibly worth noting, I downloaded the web files to my D: drive, and extracted them to the C: drive (SSD) for installing, if that makes any difference.

Unfortunately I have a massive problem with the activation for Maya, which bothers me for weeks now, and I really hope you can help me.

I need Maya for my Game Design studies at university and installed Maya 2013 (64bit) at my Lenovo Ideapad U410. But I wasn't able to activate it with my student licence, I only got an empty window.

At first I deinstalled and reinstalled Maya, but still got the same problem. Then I tried these solutions -> http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?linkID=9240617&id=6404339&siteID=123112

Step 1, 2 and 4 didn't change anything, with step 3 (Manually register the Jscript.dll and VBscript.dll files) it shows error code 0x80004005. And I actually don't want to mess with my computers security zone...

Some other students of my class had the same problem. One of them installed Maya 2014 and could activate this version though. I deinstalled Maya 2013 and reinstalled Maya 2014, but couldn't activte this version either (it still showed the same empty activation screen and error 19 in this version).

One of my professors suggested to install and activate Maya on another computer and to transfer the licence to my Laptop. Maya 2013 works on our computer, but I couldn't find the LTU anywhere in the folder, so I'm not able to transfer the licence.

Now I'm actually really clueless how to proceed.
